How do I take prints for my handprint/fingerprint order?

We are able to use any prints that you already have, which may have been taken with paint, ink or invisible ink. If you don't have any prints that you would like to use, then all of our handprint products offer you the option to order a FREE handprint taking kit when you place your order. These kits are really easy to use and less messy than using paint!

Once you've taken your prints you can send them to us via post (there is a freepost envelope included with your kit). We do recommend that you send your prints back via email though, as it is quicker and safer to do so, it also means you can keep the original prints as a keepsake. You can either scan your prints, or take a high resolution photo with your phone and send them to

Why handprint jewellery makes a great Father's Day Gift

Why handprint jewellery makes a great Father's Day Gift

Father’s Day, initially proposed in 1909, came into existence to complement the existing Mother’s Day celebrations. And rightly so! It’s the perfect time to celebrate and honour any dads and father figures in your life. In the United Kingdom, it’s held on the third Sunday of June each year and dads, step-dads, and even granddads look forward to celebrating with their loved ones and receiving a Father’s Day gift or two.

So it’s understandable that you’ll want to get your paternal figures a gift that’s both sentimental and practical to mark the occasion. That’s why handprint jewellery is a great solution.

Handprint jewellery - the perfect Father’s Day gift

Your babies grow so fast. Before you know it, they’re toddlers, infants, and then off to school. It doesn’t seem long before they turn into teenagers and start flying the nest. Handprint jewellery is a way to capture a moment in time, celebrating them when they’re at the most precious stage of their lives.

The beauty of handprint jewellery is they’re stunning pieces to wear, but also precious keepsakes. No matter how old your child gets, you’ll always have them treasured and close to you.

Each piece is unique to you

When you can personalise a gift, it makes it that bit more unique to the recipient. But when you have the option to immortalise your child’s handprint or footprint, you’re not just personalising - you’re making a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art.

You can also personalise your jewellery further. Whether you want to add in names, dates, or little messages, you have so many options with handprint gifts. Because we know how important it is to have not only a precious memory but also a beautiful, meaningful gift too.

A wide range of Father’s Day gift ideas

If you’re looking for the perfect Father’s Day gift, you can find a selection of them in our handprint gift range. However, if you’d rather have a few ideas, keep reading for a rundown on our most popular gifts.

The stainless steel Photo Engraved Dog Tag Necklace is a good choice for many. It has plenty of room for engraved pictures and personalisation, plus it’s a stylish piece that’s always in fashion.

Keyrings are always a safe choice. You don’t need to worry about personal jewellery tastes, yet you can still make them unique and sentimental. Two of our popular options are the Children’s Drawing Keyring and the Daddy and Me Keyring. One helps you turn a piece of your child’s artwork into a lasting memento, whilst the other immortalises your child’s handprint with daddy’s. If you want to take the handprint option up a notch, you can make it a family affair by adding your own handprint on there too!

Finally, if you want to opt for a leather option, take a look at this gorgeous Men’s Leather Handprint Bracelet! It comes in three different set sizes, so do make sure you select the right one. You can also add in your child’s hand or footprint, as well as names and dates - making it a versatile and unique piece of jewellery.

Father’s Day only comes around once a year, so it pays to select a gift that is both personalised and meaningful. Handprint jewellery is the perfect solution, as it makes for a treasured yet practical keepsake. And as we all know, you need to cherish the moments when your baby is tiny, as they grow up so fast!
