Just like human finger prints, our furry and clawed friends possess highly individual prints, both on their feet, and surprisingly to some (including myself), their noses too - I hadn't realised this until a customer sent us a dog's nose print with a request to engrave it on a necklace - they'd used one of our print kits (which are non-toxic) and gently squidged their dog's nose onto the special paper, with fantastic results!
Earlier this year, at 19 years of age, our beloved family cat (called 'Bracket' (yes, Bracket the cat)) left us. We'd shared a wonderful life together and she'd snooze throughout the day in the studio, meowing loudly when it was time to eat or change position on her bed, which was beside the radiator. Bracket was part of the team.
We've recently been joined by a kitten. Tilly is quite striking in her appearance and mischievous; proving highly accomplished at pouncing on bare toes and climbing our legs using only her claws. Painful though this is, she'll likely grow out of it and just like the habits our children have, or used to have, we will look fondly back at those memories and say, "Do you remember when ....? ".
If you've got foot prints, paw prints and nose prints that you wish to capture forever, share them with us and if you're unsure as to whether they're suitable, just ask - we can work wonders on even the most smudged prints.
Does anyone have an unusual print that they wish to capture?
With love from the B&B Team... and Tilly the Kitten x
