It’s been a very busy few months at Bella & Bow, and we have some lovely news to share, with the addition of a new team member! Born just a few weeks ago, our sweet little Heather (or Hettie as she is known to us), is a true blessing. After a difficult few years, our little rainbow arrived, and although she has a few challenges ahead of her, we think she’s just perfect.
She arrived weighing in at 7lb 3oz, which was a bit of a shock to me as I was expecting another tiny one (William was born weighing just 4lb 15oz). Our lives are forever changed in the most amazing way, I can’t believe how it’s possible that you can love someone this much when you’ve only just met them.
After our first little boy being such a trial as a baby (premature, silent reflux & allergies), we had our fingers crossed for a chilled out one this time round, and she hasn’t disappointed. I think it’s definitely easier second time around, as it’s not such a shock when you realise just how much work it is looking after a newborn. Having said that, she is a very happy little one who seems to love her sleep…obviously takes after her father!
Having a business that means you spend most days looking at baby names, apparently leads to much confusion when it comes to naming your own little one! We really struggled to decide on a name (there were a few interesting suggestions), and she was known as Baby for quite a while after she was born! We are totally in love with her name though, and i’m glad we waited to make a decision.
To celebrate the addition to our family, and also the fact that i’m finally getting back into the swing of working, we will be having a giveaway, and some great launch offers for new products over the next few weeks. We are also donating 20% of profits from September to Kicks Count, our wonderful partner charity…thanks so much for your support.
