We're now 5 weeks into lockdown and have to say we're so proud of our country for staying strong and staying in during this unprecedented time.
We know you may be getting bored or running out of ideas of things to do so we've put this blog post together for inspiration of things you could do during lockdown.
Set up an outdoor cinema in the garden just like one of our followers, Louise did.
She even had hot chocolate, popcorn and candles!
Camp out and pretend you're at a festival in the garden. It's going to be a while before we're able to attend festivals so bring the same vibes to your garden and camp out too (the beauty of this is that at least you have luxury washing facilities)
Dye your hair rainbow colours. Because why not?! It's a fun thing to do and no one will tell you off or see you if it goes horribly wrong.
Create a handprint keepsake. To record your little ones handprint at this time. It's also a fun activity to do with your little one because they love getting the paints out and making prints. We've made this lovely printable where they can colour in the rainbow and then pop a handprint below it.

As well as this how about creating a time capsule of this time?
How cool would it be to pull this out in a few years or even on their 18th birthday? You can download yours here.
Start a family craft project. We're not saying your should or should not be keeping busy during this time because everyone is dealing with this in their own way but we know a lot of people find comfort in crafting. It's a great way to take your mind of things and feel like you have accomplished something at the end. Some ideas could be learning to knit together, creating a scrapbook to collect memories from lock down or making things for around the home. We love some of these ideas.
Remember to take some time out for you. It's hard trying to balance homeschooling with everything else, especially if you're also having to work too. It's so important to take some time out for yourself too, as hard as it may be. Try and do at least one thing a day, even if it's for 5 minutes. Some ideas could be to enjoy a bath, paint your nails, read a book, meditate, do your favourite online exercise class or bake.
We hope you're coping ok during this time and we'd love to know what you've been up to. Come and join in the conversation on Facebook or tag us in your posts on Instagram.
Take care and stay safe.
