Your unique prints are engraved into the surface of this charm, and give a lovely subtle look, which sparkles when it catches the light.
The exact layout of the charm will be decided by the designers based on the details in the prints and length of any name to be engraved.

You have the option to use prints that you already have, or to order an ink-based fingerprint taking kit, which we will send to you.
You can upload a photo of your prints when you place your order, or email a photo of them to us at studio@bellaandbow.co.uk
If you've ordered from us before then you can also order again using the same prints.

For most of our products, you have the option to engrave a message in our typed font, or have actual handwriting engraved.
For typed messages, please ensure that you check your spelling & messages carefully, as they will be engraved exactly as typed when you place your order.
Fingerprints will be engraved as sent, although our designers may enhance the prints as they see fit to ensure the best results. If you have any specific requests to edit or not to edit prints please let us know at the time of ordering.

Note about Fingerprints
Children's fingerprints develop at different rates, and often it can be difficult to get a clear print under 12 months of age. For children under 12 months we recommend our handprint & footprint ranges.
If you're unsure about suitability, you can check print development using the PENCIL METHOD. You are welcome to email any prints to us to check before placing an order.
The quality of the print will affect the outcome of the engraving, so if you are unsure whether your print is clear enough, then please contact us for further information.

Our products are guaranteed for 12 months against any manufacturing fault.
Please note that this guarantee does not cover wear and tear, or loss.
We recommend that you regularly check for any wear and tear or damage. Please carefully follow the care instructions which are provided to ensure the longevity of your product.

Can I use newborn or adult prints?
We can use any fingerprint as long as it's possible to see the line details within the print. Sometimes in young children, their prints aren't defined enough to be able to see the lines. This can also happen in older adults too.
If you're unsure about the prints that you have taken then we are happy to check them for you before you place an order. Please email a clear/focussed picture to studio@bellaandbow.co.uk.
You can check the suitability of prints in young children before ordering by using the pencil technique for some practice prints.
How long will my order take?
The current turnaround time for our products will be displayed at checkout. These delivery times change depending on the time of year, so please return your prints promptly once you've placed your order.
Can I use prints that I already have?
Yes we can use any ink/pencil prints that you already have. We have successfully managed to use moulds of prints before, but each case is individual. If this is your only option please contact us before placing your order so that we can check that we are able to use the prints that you have.
